My professional journey…so far!

Visionary leader & entrepreneur with successful experience as CEO, CFO & Chairman within the construction industry, healthcare, financial services and the Icelandic Parliament.

First and foremost I consider myself a passionate strategist and executor, driven by strategic growth results. I’m a true extrovert and love working with a versatile group of people - aiming for results and hitting targets together.

After graduating from my master studies I co-founded a financial services company (Hagsýn) in 2010 which my co-partner and I sold in 2014, when I started my journey with GG Verk  as CEO & CFO. Since then the revenue of the company has 30 folded and we’ve become the 7th largest construction company in Iceland, winning several awards.

Besides working as CEO & CFO of GG Verk since 2014, I was appointed by the Health Minister of Iceland in 2017 as the Chairman of the Board of the Icelandic Health Insurance (Sjúkratryggingar Íslands) and have since been appointed each year by the current Health Minister.
